A Happy Fourth To All

Enjoy the festivities. Posting will be at a snail's pace for a few days. The famous painting is of July 4, 1916, by American impressionist Frederick Childe Hassam, 1859 - 1935.

Hope you all had a good time :)
Happy 4th of July, Tiberge, if it is not too late! I like the Childe Hassam whose work I have seen before, such as his painting of Appledore Island.
Happy Independance Day, Tiberge!
To All
Apologies for this belated thank you. Your kind wishes are always appreciated. Since I spent the 4th in the kitchen cooking, I can only assume that everyone outside had a great time. The fireworks were deafening at one point (possibly because the source is near my house). And then I lost electricity totally for a minute. This unnerving situation ended quickly. I think there were too many air-conditioners on. In our boiling summers generators frequently "pop".
