"To them, we no longer exist..."

Writer Malika Sorel's pro-France and pro-nationhood positions are unusually lucid and surprisingly candid. She stands far removed from many other Algerians in France who regularly manifest their hatred of their host country. Recently she wrote an assessment of a meeting of European ministers organized by the French Minister of Immigration and National Identity, Eric Besson (photo). Read more about Malika Sorel at the end:
Yesterday morning I attended a ministerial seminar organized by Eric Besson on the theme "The migrations in the lands of the Mediterranean: constructing a space of shared prosperity". Insofar as many journalists covered the seminar, I feel safe in sharing with you a few high points.
The ministers of Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Croatia, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, and Egypt were among the guests.
One expert set the tone right away by declaring that since the European population was aging, three possibilities ensued. I quote them:
1. We delay the age of retirement. Not a very popular measure.
2. We put more women in the workplace. That would have a negative effect on the birth rate.
3. We organize international migrations.
And with these words, obviously intended to allow the ministers to begin their well-prepared speeches, the main theme of the morning was set: since the North was not producing children, and the South producing many (they actually said it), it was necessary to agree to organize migratory waves from the South to the North. Several ministers even declared that since immigration, in any case, was occurring illegally when it was not authorized, it would be preferable to legalize and organize it. They also said that 75% of the youth of Tunisia were considering leaving their country...
Here is a sampling of the words uttered by the ministers from northern countries:
- "The countries of the North need labor."
- "Immigration increases the competitiveness of the countries of the North."
- "Immigration benefits the countries of the South as well as those of the North."
- "Since labor from the South is unskilled and since the North will need more and more a supply of skilled labor, the Northern countries must help train the labor from the South so that it can fulfill the requirements."
- "We must have a flexible policy of visas in order to facilitate the movement of these immigration influxes."
- "We must facilitate the ability of the immigrants to remain in contact with their homelands and to transfer a part of their earnings."
- "We must organize welcoming committees in such a way that they recognize their diversity. At any rate, it's the example that will be used everywhere. Priority must be given to the fight against discrimination."
- "A world without immigration would be a world more divided, more radical."
- "Poverty and the lack of development were caused by colonization."
"Immigration is perhaps the solution to the crisis," a Swedish minister said solemnly.
The two ministers from the South asked that their nationals be well-treated in the host countries, and that in the rush to organize migratory influxes from the South into the North, care be taken to maintain the powerful ties with the homeland, in order for migrants to transfer money back to their country of origin (...) The Moroccan minister emphasized that these migrants (the Moroccan community abroad) constituted a diaspora, and that Morocco would actively take care of them. The Egyptian minister began his speech with "In the name of Allah the most merciful..." and formulated the hope that the Arabic language become more common in the future in the Mediterranean bassin.
Eric Besson concluded the meeting thus: "We must accelerate and increase the mass movements."
All the ministers signed the "Paris recommendation on the promotion of the mobility of young persons in the Mediterranean space," of which this is an excerpt: "Reaffirming their determination to build a common Mediterranean future, they agree on the necessity to give priority to youth in the construction of a Mediterranean space for the movement of persons, of knowledge and of skills."
A Mediterranean office of youth will be created by January 1, 2011. Its goal will be to facilitate the free movement of students of certain universities, and to provide them with grants. (...)
During this entire morning it was patently clear that European peoples were of no interest to the European ministers. It was as if Europe was an uninhabited land, or soon to become one, and there was a need to people it. The only moment when you felt that Europeans still existed in the minds of these ministers was when mention was made of the need to fight against the discrimination that these migrants would be victims of...
This morning showed me, as if it was still necessary to do so, the extent to which this European "elite" was sometimes more concerned about the interests of foreign populations that about those of their own people. It is indeed this elite that is responsible for the current situation, and not the immigrants. Henceforth, only the European populations themselves will be able to spare their countries chaos, and at the same time save their lives and those of their descendants, for it is clear that what is being planned for us by leaders who don't even realize it, is a proliferation of Balkan States throughout the European Union. We are indeed far away from the dreams of the founding fathers!
Malika Sorel closes with the belief that national cohesion is an absolute necessity and that "power springs up when men act together!"
Malika Sorel is a writer of Algerian origin who was born and educated in France. Having lived for a long time in North Africa, she focuses her interest on the education of young people, political policies relevant to the family, the problems of immigration and French foreign policy. In 2007, she wrote a book entitled Le Puzzle de l'Intégration (The Puzzle of Integration), published by Mille et Une Nuits. Nicolas Sarkozy named her to the High Council on Integration in 2009, a government-sponsored think tank created in 1989 and assigned the mission of studying the integration of foreigners into France. The agency issues an annual report on its findings to the prime minister.
I borrowed the title she used for her own article.
Update: January 9, 2010 - The original photo I had posted has been removed, since it was not a photo of Malika Sorel as I thought, and replaced by that of Eric Besson. I have not yet found a photo of Sorel.

This national identity crap is a smoke screen to keep the natives happy, bastards!

To the third comment by "anonymous":
I too wondered about that. I have seen photos of Pourhiet, and I did think it was she in the photo, but then decided that they might just resemble each other. I think it would be best to remove the photo.
I am aware of what Besson said and am working on an article. FDS has a post on this, as do many French web sites. I hope to have it up tomorrow (or sooner).
Thanks.
"...it is clear that what is being planned for us by leaders who don't even realize it, is a proliferation of Balkan States throughout the European Union."
I'm not sure that I follow this. When we use the term "Balkan States" in American English, we usually are referring to a chopped up, highly divided group of small countries. I do not see this following from what Malika Sorel has written. What does seem to follow is that the existing states of Europe will be totally muzlim dominated in short order, with muzlims running every aspect of them, and Europeans completely subservient to their new masters. This transformation should not take very long once the flood gates are opened. The will out number native Europeans so fast it will make your head spin!
It seems imminently clear that the national governments of Europe are of no value whatsoever in stopping this disaster; they are the cause of it. It can be resisted only at the local and possibly the regional level. Everyone must become active and do it now! If not, tomorrow you will be a dhimmi slave, sweeping the local mosque.
This whole seminar was predicated on false assumptions.
While it is true that the population of Europe is aging, this is also true of Japan, and they are not importing foreign labor. They are coming up with ways to deal with the problems, using their own resources. The last thing in the world the Japanese will do is allow large numbers of foreigners into Japan.
Does anyone think that women in the workplace cannot get pregnant? Last time I checked, this was still happening. It is not ideal, but it is possible for women to work and raise a family, so more women working can be done.
I agree that international migrations need to be organized. They need to be stopped cold, with the deportation of those already in the wrong place.
Ms. Sorel has done a great service by reporting this seminar. Her report should receive wide publicity, and every European should take to heart what is so very clear in it. The freedom of every person in Europe depends on each individual in Europe. European governments are working actively against freedom in Europe.
@ Dr. D
I'm not certain of what she meant by "Balkan States" either, but many French people, in articles, comments, forums, etc... have spoken of the likely "Balkanization" of Europe, meaning that people will be in flight from conditions they cannot abide or from conditions that endanger their lives. The Flemish, for example, may forcibly separate themselves from the Walloons, the French who live in rural areas may cut themselves off from the Islamized parts of their country, etc... How this would actually materialize, I have no idea, but I think that if European nations cease to exist because of the combined factors of Islam and loss of national sovereignty, there may be violent upheavals, and enclaves will form wherever they can to save whatever can be saved. My vision is closer to that of Jean Raspail than to the actual Balkans. Sorel does seem to envision a splitting off or breaking up of traditional nations into smaller units. But in the end, your guess is as good as mine. At any rate it's a nightmare.
"Balkanisation" is a sloppy grab bag of many concepts and historical events but there are two constants amidst it all: Islamic conquest and the struggling of mutually exclusive peoples who make unacceptable demands of each other but are held together by empires. The history of the Balkans contains instructive lessons for us, the most recent conflict in the 1990's being particularly pertinent.
Alija Izetbegovic's vision of a "multicultural" unitary Bosnia enabled by US ambassador Warren Zimmermann, earned him the admiration of the West to the point of being called the George Washington of Bosnia, the father of his nation (said Paddy Ashdown), and constantly referred to throughout the 1990s as the President of Bosnia (a non-existent position for a country that didn't legally exist). The only problem was that Izetbegovic was in reality an "Islamist" who carefully concealed behind a cunning PR campaign that he in fact wanted a Sharia Bosnia.
This is what caused the Bosnian civil war.
The Serbs could not accept being reduced to the level Ottoman denizens all over again. And for this, for this, we gave them the "Nazi" treatment, we treated them like we treat all truth tellers about immigration in the modern west, we treated them like we treat our own patriots, we treated them like we treat our freethinkers, we treated them like those people (now vindicated) who said that the EU is an incipient super-state, and we shit all over them. We defamed Serbs in the mass mind, we armed their deadly enemies (with Iranian weapons), we called these Serbs who fought madly and without regard for the consequences against the actual Nazis the "New" Nazis, we accused them of being the "new anti-semites" who had pioneered a new kind of prejudice: "Islamophobia", these people who fought for the freedom and safety of their people against forced conversion, terrorism, beheadings, jizya, hudna, these people whom our glorious leaders crushed in a "humanitarian" bombing campaign. All of this we did to the Serbs, the Serbs who fought our war on the frontline of the Jihad, as they have done for centuries in irrational defiance of the powers of this world. Their strange slanted eyes imbued with Chetnik fanaticism are a riposte of silent thunder to the vain powers of our world--like the Ottoman, Austria-Hungary, The British Empire, the Third Reich, Post Modernist America, the EU--who crucify them for the shining ideals of multiculturalism, liberalism, freedom, progress, economic growth, empire building, mending the world for a better and higher future, etc, etc, etc.
So that's what is meant by Balkanisation; we end up like Serbs. That's our harsh lesson, that's what our future holds. Yesterday it was Yugoslavia, tomorrow it will be the Mediterranean, and all of Western Europe.
What treason, what evil!
All those who are doing this to Europe must pay!
We have all been sold down the river by the global elites. What Dr D is speaking of I have already warned about on swedish blogs. Most people think it will take 50-100 years before we have muslim rule. I have warned that it could happen within a few years alone. The opening of the flood gates will take place on febuary 1st when euromed is in full power-mode. Most likely we will be dhimmi-slaves within this year.
the unemplyoment in europe hits almost 30%!
