Muslims in Russia Celebrate
Those interested in what's going on in Russia can click Bivouac-Id for a long page of photos and videos of Muslims celebrating the end of Ramadan in the streets of Moscow. I was surprised to see this. Bivouac-Id readers almost unanimously express shock. Some say that the Muslims were paid to do this, that the imams made them do it, and everyone wants to know how Putin could allow it. One reader who knows Russian says that in one of the videos, the Russians filming the scene have no idea what they are filming, and ask why everybody is turned in the same direction (towards Mecca - but they didn't know that!).
Another Bivouac reader says:
- Why the surprise? I've seen the same images of New York, Chicago... in several cities of the United States and the rest of the world. So, it's a strategy that they develop knowingly to show that they occupy a very important place, that from now on they have to be reckoned with, that they need more mosques (even if they are empty)... In brief, THE WHOLE WORLD BELONGS TO THEM (...)
Note: This is what they want us to believe. This is how they get us by the throat - they use skillful PR tactics, photos, outdoor prayers, speeches, dialogue, etc... to make it look as if they are everywhere. In America, there are only about three million Muslims. How many are there in Russia? I think, unfortunately, that France may have one of the largest populations.

Ah, I guess this is a murky issue (the muslim would want either to hype, or to downplay their number, depending on their aim, and the northodox russians... would do just the same).
Anyone a bit more learned than me to correct/further those links above?
Btw, russia IS a member state of the OIC, and HAS been courting the muslim world both before, and after the fall of communism. As a matter of fact, "muslim" terror was largely an invention, part and parcel, of soviet/russian subversive warfare (first evidence would be the creation of the PLO), exactly as "decolonization wars" & third worldism were an integral part of the larger soviet world strategy since 1922...
And even now, russia is not-so discretly backing the muslim world in order to triangulate against the West and the USA in particular.
It always cracks me up, when paleo-conservatives, be they my fellow french wingnuts or their US counterparts, have a raging h9rd-on for putin, just because he talks tough and has leveled chechnya... just don't pay attention to the man behind the curtain, and how he's helping iran, syria, the stan republics, has basically surrendered chechnya to an islamic warlord,...
(NOT to mention the somewhat wild, but IMHO credible assertions/Paranoid Conspiracy Theories about how parts if not the whole of the "muslim terror" might be a proxy for russia and/or the chicom...
As far-out than the NWO crap, but, backed by actual History, IE how the soviet backed terror decades-long, and with lotsa circumstancial evidence, about the 1999 bombing sprees that re-opened the chechnyan front, about how al zawahiri had been a soviet asset first in the egyptian MB, then in afghanistan before he hook up with OBL,...).
Anyway, all this to say that, no, russia will NOT be the Savior On A White Horse that will save the save White Europa, they're both in many ways at the root of our own decadence, and also afflicted with the same issues (and even more so in several regards, such as the low white birthrate & high muslim one), corrupt Elites,...
It's just that the country has a "strong man" of some sort, not that he has done much, though, and that people looking for a manly, fatherly figure have "found" it with putin (and his tiger-hunting, bare-chested-fishing, judo & sambo-fighting, gun-shooting,... carefully staged photo-ops), the fascist-like youth orgs and the beating of minorities, stuff that they'd like to do, but don't have the stones or at least, the means, to do...
Quite like the whole "serbian" thingie for many french rightwingers... I'm sometimes amazed by that... and don't start me on "putin-the-blue-eyed-blond-who-saved-russia-from-jooooos", he's half-jewish IIRC, and medvedev is a jewish convert to Orthodoxy (plus, but I forgot to save one FDS commenter clearing this up for some local antisemites, both are part of a larger "clique" including several high-rise jewish businessmen and oligarchs).
