Joyeux Noël à tous!

Thanks to Zazie for the beautiful photo, and to all who have sent so many kind thoughts and comments during the past several days. Let's hope that 2011 brings us the courage to continue (or to start) resisting the enemies of our civilization.
I never pray for specific things, only for the courage to get through whatever I have to get through. 2011 will not be easy, it will be the anniversary of 9/11 and we are so much worse off now than we ever thought we would be. France will be embroiled in campaign politics, and Nicolas Sarkozy will do whatever is necessary to win. Marine Le Pen is rising in popularity - let's hope she has the wisdom to unite under one banner the various factions struggling to save their country. Let's hope, above all, that she doesn't back off or apologize or attempt to save face when she makes a statement that is too strong for the fragile hearts of the "bien-pensants."

And a Merry Christmas to you, tiberge! Thanks for doing all you have over the year. God bless.
Beautiful photo! Gives you a feeling of freedom and strength.
As does this community which you, tiberge, so welcomingly keeps open to us all, and into which you put such a lot of work. Your cat is beautiful, as well, and must be forgiven for your lost article:-) It can be hard when you have put so much effort into an article.
Joyeux Noël à tous!
I'd like to add my thanks as well, Tiberge, for all the hard work you put into your blog. It's very appreciated.
I shudder to think what we'd **not** know, were it not for GalliaWatch.
God bless, and may you have a Merry Christmas.
Just want to say how much I appreciate the pictures and music you are putting up on the site.
Happy Christmas and best wishes for the new year
I hope you are having a good Christmas, tiberge, and that it's not too cold where you are. I saw US snowstorms on the news, are you in an affected area?
The snow was here for over a week, but it thawed finally last night. It's the coldest winter in Ireland for decades, if not centuries (even my grandmother cannot remember such a cold winter). Now I can only hope for our water pipes to start working again...
Have a good New Year and keep up the good work.
@ Craig
Thank you so much for your kind thoughts.
Yes, we're having a blizzard of major proportions and I have no salt for the sidewalk. It's one of those things I don't buy until it's too late. I hear New York will have 16 inches by tomorrow.
I hope no one was hurt in Ireland and that there was no major damage.
Got to show you a not so innocent cat in action under the Christmas tree
