Islamist Demonstration Banned
Note: This post has been expanded (twice) from the original version posted earlier today.The poster above, from François Desouche, announced an "Islamist Demonstration" scheduled for today April 9 in Paris, in protest of the law banning the burka. British and Belgian Islamists were expected to attend. However, the protest aroused the indignation of many people and organizations, and the prefect of Paris banned it. The poster reads "The Umma Awakens!"

UMP deputy Jacques Myard did not hesitate to qualify as "fanatical fundamentalist rubbish" the aggressive tone of the organizers, and to insist they be taken to court.
Bruno Vendoire, of the Bloc Identitaire, did not know exactly who they were but declared that "it is clear that their assembly is a provocation that aims strategically to create tension in France. I can't imagine that this demonstration of hatred would be authorized by the prefect. (…) They should be arrested and sent home. Their agenda to install sharia in France justifies banning this rally (…) We do not have to tolerate the activism of puppets who are fighting our civilization."
Christine Tasin, president of Résistance Républicaine, is "perplexed" as to why the CFCM (French Council of the Muslim Religion) refuses to condemn the rally. "This means that the Muslim organizations want to install sharia in France." (…) The Mosque of Paris did not answer their phone this afternoon.
Louis Aliot, vice-president of the Front National, expressed his feeling, by the end of the afternoon, that such a rally should be banned. "We are in a Republic, the governing document is the Constitution. If these people are not French, they can go live their umma elsewhere. And if they are French, it's even worse because it illustrates the failure of assimilation."
Note: Aliot, who is Marine Le Pen's companion, is cautious in his choice of words. He implies that the foreigners SHOULD assimilate. But this is not desirable since it would mean the end of the ethnic Frenchman. He also stresses the notion of a "republic", with all that it implies of socialism, not just of the economic sort, but cultural as well. The Front National under Marine Le Pen, will certainly be "social". How far she will go remains to be seen.
In the end, the police banned the rally on grounds it could trigger violence. According to some sources, "patriotic, nationalist and zionist militants" connected to the JDL, whose website was hacked, had threatened to intervene…

Second update: Despite the ban, sixty members, including nineteen women, of the Islamist "Collective for Tawhid Unity" demonstrated at place de la Nation on Saturday and were arrested. L'Express reports:
This collective, known in France as Forsane-Alizza, brings together English, Belgian and French Salafists. These are radical Islamists whose stated goal is to impose sharia (Muslim divine law) on France. (…)
Two men, known to Interpol, were to join the small rally. Monsieur Choudary came from Great Britain but was stopped at a toll gate. Monsieur Belkacem, from Belgium, was also arrested between Amiens and Paris. (…)
Five or six men, seated at an outdoor café, with long beards and tunics to their ankles, became annoyed when journalists tried to engage them in conversation. A few minutes later they were joined by ten men dressed similarly. The police encircled them and told them to get into the van. "You didn't even ask me if I was participating in the rally! And you want to remove me? I wasn't born between 1939 and 1945, but what you're doing looks a lot like that. The truth is we're in a democracy, and free to demonstrate." When the man refused to leave, the police captain told him he would be taken to headquarters for an identity check. Nobody budged. A young sympathizer became impatient:
"We are at home, France will soon belong to us. There are already 10 million of us, soon there will be 20 million, you'll see. You will not be able to stop us from doing anything. This country is ours."
Ominous words. It may have been a minor incident, but his words express everyone's secret fears.

Banning the burqa? Where is the law even being enforced??
Isn't the law set to go into effect on April 11 (this Monday)?
Yes, you're right, I thought it already had, but we'll see about actual enforcement. On Radio Courtoisie, I heard that if they are on their way to religious services, police will be unable or unwilling to stop the women who supposedly can wear the burqa in this case. And with the relatively low fines, I think many will just pay them.
I certainly won't vote for someone who got married and divorced twice.
Marine Lepen has no credibility.
Nor has a government which bans rallies while calling itself democratic. Not content with sweeping its dirt under the carpet, it is holding down the lid on the boiling pot.

In your last sentence you are implying that the rally should have been allowed, not just because it is democratic to do so, but because it would have allowed a violent element to be visible and it would have speeded up the "boiling over" process.
If this is what you meant, you have a point. Sooner or later the pot will boil over, and the sooner the better.
However, even democratic governments have a right to ban rallies. But in this case, to ban the rally, and at the same time to leave the borders open, to promote halal, to build mosques as part of a long term policy, to be indifferent to the fate of Christianity and eager to please Muslims, to support the most criminal elements in Ivory Coast, to let criminals out of jail, etc... makes the ban on this rally a farce, at best.
The only motive behind the ban on this rally was to suppress the truth about the French government's failed multicultural experiment as well as the truth about Islam.
I say, let the Muslims demonstrate and speak their minds to the French in all bluntness since that's what they're dying to do.
We, the French people, have a right to know what's in store for us.
I am not saying that democracies have no right to ban protests or gatherings under any circumstance. Yet the French authorities have a history of infringing on the constitutional right of the people to peacefully assemble and protest its policies, especially when such protests would threaten its multicultural policies. I am sure you remember the ban on the "saucisson-pinard" events last year.
Yes, it is a farce to ban such a rally while pandering to Islam all year long, just as it is a farce to ban burkas after allowing in and naturalizing millions of Muslims over a few decades.
It is all about cosmetics, appearance, what we, the people, are allowed to see and to hear. If we don't get to see burka-clad women on our streets, we might be less reluctant to buy into Sarközy's fabled Islam of France.
It is difficult to conceive anything more contemptible than the hypocrisy that we French have to endure from our own officials day after day, year after year.

I'm glad you commented on the burka law. I'm against it because I want the French to see the burkas and to react accordingly, by rejecting multiculturalism, the Islam of France, the dictates of Brussels, and all the other commandments from the Offices of Official Thought.
It's so ironic to see the French people enslaved by the Republic, while we are still taught in schools that they were enslaved by the Monarchy.
Indeed, I'd take a Balthazar de Bourbon any day over the traitorous Sarközy de Nagy-Bocsa. He can't speak French and holds Indian citizenship, but at least he's catholic and loves our country, so what's not to like?

You will know what needs to be done after that, which culture needs to be in control.

SECRET PLOT TO LET 50 MILLION AFRICAN WORKERS INTO EU
MORE than 50 million African workers are to be invited to Europe in a far-reaching secretive migration deal, the Daily Express can reveal today.
A controversial taxpayer-funded “job centre” opened in Mali this week is just the first step towards promoting “free movement of people in Africa and the EU”.
Brussels economists claim Britain and other EU states will “need” 56 million immigrant workers between them by 2050 to make up for the “demographic decline” due to falling birth rates and rising death rates across Europe.
The report, by the EU statistical agency Eurostat, warns that vast numbers of migrants could be needed to meet the shortfall in two years if Europe is to have a hope of funding the pension and health needs of its growing elderly population.
It states: “Countries with low fertility rates could require a significant number of immigrants over the coming decades if they want to maintain the existing number of people of working age.
“Having sufficient people of working age is vital for the economy and for tax revenue.”
The report, by French MEP Francoise Castex, calls for immigrants to be given legal rights and access to social welfare provision such as benefits.
Ms Castex said: “It is urgent that member states have a calm approach to immigration. To say ‘yes’, we need immigration … it is not a new development, we must accept it.”
The proposals include the creation of a “blue card” system, based on the American green card, that provides full working and welfare rights.

Marine isnt perfect. l am quite happy that she isnt. ln fact l have never met a perfect person. They dont exist. However there are degrees of imperfection. lslam is very very imperfect.
lt is impossible to delink Western civilisation from Christianity. Marine may not be Christian but she is a child of the West, in that you will find Christianity even if it isnt glaringly obvious. When the muslims take over a land usually they obliterate very nearly everything that is Christian or of Christianity. These muslim lands are vastly different from Western countries. If we dont stop the invaders now it is quite likely most of the Western European countries will be majority muslim in 50 years. To allow this to occur is to condemn ones children to a form of slavery. We of the post war generations have been blessed with wealth and freedom unknown to previous generations - and we have squandered these things and become lazy. ln many respects we are worse than the nazis of old - worse than the butchering Leninists, worse than all of these historical monstrosities. History will judge us and find us guilty - if there is any civilisation left to make the judgement.
This birka law is a farce and a distraction just as the death of osama is of only passing interest -all of these things distract us from the real issue - how can we fight the destrucution of our Superior Western Civilisation? We need to become radical and strident - we are at war. Make a personal declaration of war with islam and let it guide you.
