Under Sharia Control

According to this article on the home page of François Desouche, Islamic "extremists" have been placing signs indicating zones controlled by sharia law. These signs have been appearing in various cities of Great Britain, including London.

Note: I placed the word "extremists" in quotes because they are not extremists, they are simply Muslims, slowly but surely taking over Europe. No extremism here. Just the Koran:

The bright yellow messages, tacked onto bus stops and street lights, have already been sighted in certain neighborhoods of London. They order that in a "controlled zone" there is to be "no gambling", "no music or concerts", "no porn or prostitution", "no drugs, tobacco or alcohol".

Below, a red-headed Muslim affixes the warning.

You may know this line from Dante's Commedia which should be added to the yellow sticker. It could be the motto of Islamic Europe:

Abandon hope all ye who enter here

No porn, no prostitution, no gambling....OK! Little alcohol, OK! no drugs, OK of course.....
But...NO MUSIC ???? there's the rub! All civilised people(s), as far back you may go in history, have loved playing or listening to music, whether of sounds or "music of words" ; so, Sharia seems to take mankind
many steps back in evolution!
If they really suppress music, then there is no such thing as a Moslem civilisation!

@ zazie,

Regarding porn, prostitution and drugs, we are to blame for allowing these "practices" to flourish everywhere and for being lax in the courts. It is up to us to correct this "dérive" as you say. We cannot justify Islam on the grounds that some of it is OK and some is not (I'm not saying that you were justifying it, but some people, including Catholic clergy, do).

We have to expel Islam and return to a stricter, saner, more humane moral standard.

Imagine, no wine, no Mozart!

In times like this, I think we need more wine and more Mozart!

Keeping in mind beautiful pieces you have put on your blog, like the photo of this cross in the Alps, and Mahalia Jackson with "Silent Night", personally I was also looking up Crying in the Chapel, both with Mahalia, and also with Elvis. So, whether or not we are "Crying in The Chapel" -

Here's a "Psalm" by Jan Garbarek with arch Norwegian folk singer Agnes Buen Garnås, and beautiful photos from sceneries around the world

I've just got to send you this clip by Jan Garbarek, that I just found a minute ago. Never heard it before. It's live, from 2004.

"Hasta Siempre"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QtH_g9RQvuQ&feature=related

As the title indicates, there's a Spanish touch to this one

Don't even know if you think anything of this kind of music, but there could be a chance.

And since I never owned a disc by Jan Garbarek, but know what's his style of music, I'm curious to find out more about his music, today was the day to search, and since he is Norwegian, and International, it makes sense, doesn't it?

In times like these, we need culture more than ever! This kind of music also has no boundaries since there are no words.

Tiberge,
Of course, I was NOT justifying Islam....As you know, some "progressive" Catholics are ready to accept Islam, because they are ready to accept any/everything, calling their cowardice tolerance!
Talking of tolerance (LOL!), have you seen the threats against Fdesouche and LSB, and their likes?

Imagine The Western sivilization

Imagine the long history of Europe, with the history of France in its middle, cast into darkness.

Imagine Europe without Les beaux arts. Imagine no Commedia, no Vikings, no Lutece, no Romans..

What do they teach today's Iranians about the Persian culture and history..?

«A Sydney man who was held down on his bed and whipped up to 40 times by strangers had recently converted to Islam and was reportedly being punished for drinking, under shari’a law.»
