Double Standard

The French bloggers followed the two executions that took place recently in America. Here is a succinct comment from Yves Daoudal:

Lawrence Brewer, sentenced to death, was executed yesterday in Texas. Troy Davis, sentenced to death, was executed today in Georgia.

No one spoke about the first one, but the second was the object of a planetary campaign.

This is because the first one was a mean white racist who killed a nice black guy, while the second was a nice black guy who killed a mean white policeman.

- Ahaaa. Now I see.

Didn't pay attention to all the news about the niceblackguy. Instinctively, I could sense there was something PC about it, so avoided engaging in it.

So Yves Daoudal quite correctly sums it up, then.

France2 is celebrating diversity Sunday night, by presenting Afro Caribbean arts trophies, Oscar-style

- When, a Gallia European arts celebration?

- Oh..wouldn't that be racist..?

Reading Yves Daoudal's blog, I happen to find this quite remarkable information relating to the otherwise, much praised film "Of Gods And Men"

- A swindle, is Daoudal's verdict

The movie does not talk about the following
- One of the largest rooms in the monastery, has been turned into a mosque
- The muezzin's calls sound five times a day in the monastery
- Another room has been transformed into a koranic school for children in the neighborhood

On my own account, watching the director Xavier Beauvois on the César, was for me a clear warning not to go and watch the film. His behaviour there and then, was a confirmation of the PC concept of the film.

Why did Yves Daoudal bring up this film now?

- It had been shown on French TV a few days ago.

The film Of Gods and Men has been criticized by the two Catholic bloggers I often read: Yves Daoudal and Bernard Anthony. I have not seen the film, but it seems that no movie can be made today that is not geared to the mentality of the indoctrinated.

"Most Preferred Personality in France"
Yannick Noah

- Voted by a panel of 1 000 persons(?)

After a 15 years long fight with the fiscal office, he has to throw in the towel, and pay 1 037 827 euros to France.

Yannick Noah, top tennis player, and later PC artist, now sheepishly jokes that he's The Father of Joakim, the basketballer.

His video "Angela" is mentioning
- Malcolm X
- Angela Davis
- 1968
- Black & proud
- etcetc

- Exactly!

I can think of no film that is not about indoctrinating.

Yannick Noah's "Angela" is an example of indoctrinating by music.

Everything for the masses is about indoctrinating

Yannick Noah
Moved to Switzerland, but spent more time in France, so France decided that he pay taxes to France

"La personnalité préférée des Français était l'objet d'un redressement fiscal concernant ses revenus de 1994-1995 lorsque le sportif vivait en Suisse.

Mais les services du Fisc avaient découvert après enquête que Yannick Noah avait passé plus de temps en France qu'en Suisse, et qu'il devait par conséquent payer ses impôts... en France !"

Nobel Committeee member
Thorbjørn Jagland (Labour party)

"Jagland calls on US to spare the life of Troy Davis, 21 September 2011

"As Secretary General of the Council of Europe I appeal to the competent US authorities to find a way to spare the life of Troy Davis, scheduled to be executed tomorrow."

PS

Look at Jagland's argument
- disagreement over capital punishment

"..spare the life of Troy Davis, scheduled to be executed tomorrow. The reason is not only our disagreement over capital punishment, but first and foremost the serious doubts which persist about the integrity of the conviction."

Did Jagland appeal to spare the life of that other guy? No, not as far as I can see. No reference to his disagreement over capital punishment in the Brewer case? How come?
