Judging by their swashbuckling deportment indeed they look like marching conquering heroes. There is no longer the minimum modicum od decency. An inmoral jackal feted like a conquering heroe, all smiles, broad grins, what else is missing ? They have no shame; and the wife's attitude is even more perplexing, like condoning the impudence , lechery and adulterous tirade of her husband. Meybe she has taken the philosophical attitude. DSK is a sicko; he can not help himself; what can be done ? Nothing, the man is what he is.

@ dauphin,

Sorry we messed up. Or rather, sorry he picked Miss Diallo out of all those available. Still, I wished they had condemned him for something. But they couldn't prove anything. Anyway, I'll be very interested in seeing what happens within the PS. I'm not usually up to date on Socialist goings-on. But I wonder if they will really attempt to get back into big-time politics. Her push and her money may decide. The Socialists I have read seem to think he is out. But look at what happened to Rocard! Amazing! He actually apologized. And how about Marie-Victorine's father being bribed? It's fascinating to watch this couple. They have nothing to learn from Bonnie and Clyde.

I should add that I fear revenge is in the air. I have no love or concern for Socialists, but that is really beside the point. If people are threatened, blackmailed, bribed into silence, by a would-be politician, I am suddenly concerned.

Without the backing of an American conviction, even a small one, it will be much harder for Tristane and her mother and the others to go to court. Could a large group of his victims file a "class action" suit?

But why is this necessary? The PS must have enough guts to get rid of him. If they don't, then they have no right to call the street gangs "cowards", something they always do. They are the cowards.

Ha, that is too funny! But nothing would surprise me at this point, threats, blackmail, etc. In France, there is no such thing as "class action" as in the US; it is done in the name of one person, like Banon for example, though others can contribute to the case.

I'm frankly sick of seeing them and hearing about them, but I guess there is more to come.
