If you happen to be in Nanterre, west of Paris, on October 30, you can let your voice be heard at the Conference against Islamophobia, organized by the CCIF (Collective Against Islamophobia in France) and a consultative member of the U.N. Above is the poster advertising the event and you can't miss its meaning: the innocent Muslim couple holding hands, bathed in the French national colors, is the target of the racist Islamophobic French who want to shoot them. And there is no time to waste: this is an "emergency" ("état d'urgence"):
The goal of the conference is to fight against "the hatred towards Muslims and an ideology that seeks to reject all visible signs of Islam," because, naturally, Muslims do not feel hatred when they massacre Christians, when they call for the slaughter of Jews, when they beat homosexuals to death or hang them, when they strike their wives on grounds they are inferior… The speakers will discuss the denunciation of Islamist hatred by making this denunciation itself appear to be hatred. You accuse your dog of having rabies when you want to kill it, that is well-known.
The guest speakers are all well-known Muslims and Muslim sympathizers, dissenters having been excluded from the guest list.

The methods of the Communists/Socialists and the Nazis are very similar, the goals are a bit different: the Nazis want to impose a racial dominance over everyone else, while the Socialists want to eradicate all differences.
This is of course a simplification, since Hitler, we know, hated Jews and Christians, but felt an affinity for Islam and met with the grand mufti of Jerusalem.
Interestingly, the Socialists who started out as pro-Jewish, who defended Dreyfus, have ended up as anti-Jewish and anti-Israel, because they feel a much greater affinity for the suffering oppressed Muslims than for the rich imperialistic Jews.
The dynamic seems to be: if you hate Jews and/or Christians, you are automatically on the side of the Muslims. And this holds true for Jews and Christians themselves. Many Jews hate themselves for being Jewish and prefer to meld into Socialism; many Christians obey the dictates of Vatican II and imagine that to love Islam is to be a good Christian.

Dany Brillant speaks surprisingly frankly about this attack on free speech in Paris this week, referring to the nazis of WW2, burning books, and jokes to radio RMC that he even bought ten copies of the latest issue og Charlie Hebdo
Dany Brillant is a singer, beau, in a suit and tie, big band-style, who above all appeals to les femmes. For those who don't know him, I'd indicate a modern Dean Martin
He is absolutely firm and thinks that you should never trust those with no humor.
In general, French artist are very outspoken about politics. Still, in such a case as this one, most artists would rather stand on the wrong side, than risk anything.

I am aware of the Charlie Hebdo story. And I will post on it, time permitting. Charlie Hebdo is not always worthy of praise, but in this case the attack comes from Muslims and is another evidence of their intolerance. But Charlie Hebdo has often been cited by Catholics for slandering, offending and otherwise attacking the Church. I do not have details handy, but if I can elaborate on this later I will.
It only reached FPM because the attackers were Muslims. I wonder if FPM will write about the Catholic protest against the play that is causing such an uproar.

He does remind you of these, his idols, and also Charles Aznavour. He broke out of the "chanson francaise" style, obviously looking to the smooth American style of his idols.
His real name is Daniel Cohen, which he hasn't hesitated to confirm on TV, though. Full name Daniel Cohen-Biran. Born in Tunis.
That is too much. His name is so close to Daniel Cohn-Bendit - same last name (partially), same initials. No wonder he changed it!
The people who are championing democracy and free press to the rest of the world are notorious in muzzling anybody when their skeletons are exposed. Case in point, Julian Assange and this model Ms. Hessler !!

Western establishments have become more concerned about satisfying islamic extremists, who whinge every time they are offended, then protecting the safety, freedom, and traditions of their own people. The French Council on the Muslim Faith even records statistics of "islamophobia", most likely collected by local governments enforcing their "hate speech" laws (I have never heard of muslims being attacked or harmed, it is often native citizens who must now be careful). Meanwhile it is illegal in France to collect any statistics on the race of criminals.
