The Devil and the Deep Blue...
At 5:00 a.m., EDT, Friday morning April 20, the two front-runners each have 27% of the votes. Marine Le Pen has 17%. Hollande is projected to win on May 6 with 55%. At least that is what the left-wing Libération says, based on a TNS Sofres poll published Friday.
There are some very stubborn and/or suspicious people out there who are going to stay home on Sunday and deprive Marine of a better score. These are people who are apathetic, who feel she isn't Catholic enough, or pugnacious enough, who preferred her father, who have a grudge of some sort, etc… I can only urge them (as if they're listening to me!) to get out and vote for her. She probably will not make it to the second round anyway, so I cannot understand why there is such a reluctance to cast a vote for something better, even if it isn't exactly what one would like. Is Hollande better? Would five more years of Sarkozy be better? Do I want to sit here for five more years and write about Socialists, Communists, Europeists, gang-rapes, subway murders, car burnings, neglected churches and monuments, and violent schools? Give me a break...

France has just one more chance. It can elect Marine, or go down the tubes, with Muslim pushing France into the sewer.
I will be voting for Marine in the first ballot.
If the second ballot is between Sarko and 'olland, I will put in a 'blank' vote; except if the far left suggest a 'blank' vote as a protest.
I am afraid it is too late : today is friday ; at least twenty imams have used the prayer hour to ask their congregation to vote for Hollande!
Some people are going to wake up at last, with a bitter taste in their mouths......
Possibly the most important thing is to get rid of Nicolas Sarkozy. Then the UMP will fall apart, and some members (who knows how many?) will gravitate to the FN where they should have been all along. The FN will be stronger, and better able to deal with Hollande. Whether or not Marine makes it to the second round, if Sarko loses, she wins.
Marine has done a remarkable job so far.
I think she may still have a little problem with the image of her father as the face of FN. She says, however, that if she doesn't succeed this time, she is ready for the next round, that is 2017.
Fit for fight!
sarkozy is a walking disaster, hollande is a catastrophe in the making, melanchon is a volcanoe ready to erupt. a fantastic future awaits us all in la belle france.
