Blazing Heat and Dangerous Storms
We're in a scorching heat wave. It reached close to 102 Fahrenheit. Extremely violent storms are predicted in the next hour. I only hope there's no blackout. This is quite normal however for the East Coast. The dangers, besides blackouts, are trees falling on cars, flash floods, roofs caving in, electrocution - nothing to worry about!
BTW, in America the plural of "roof" is "roofs". I have read that in Australia it is still "rooves". Don't know about England.

I was worried about you in this heat wave ; even in Switzerland they are talking about it, that's how I knew ; now, you may have had a storm ; I hope you are OK and can read these lines...
BTW, as far as I know, in England the plural of "roof" is "roofs".
@ zazie,
Thanks zazie. Everything is fine. As usual, my street did not get hit very hard, but I have not yet heard about other areas.
You must do some precaution to protect yourself in these excessive heat. After all it is our health that most important.
Glad you are ok, Tiberge.
Has anyone heard what has happened to the RL website? I have been unable to connect for days and have had no
response from their administrator.
Is it down for summer?
We don't have rooves in the UK, roofs is fine.
@ dauphin,
RL is fine. I've had no problems. I still have problems with François Desouche.
Let us know if RL is working for you. When a site does not work for some, but works for others, it is hard to solve the mystery. Clear cache, clear cookies, try to get in through a permalink to a single article, quit browser and re-boot, change browser, send an e-mail to the administrators:

@ tiberge
Thanks, I will try!
PS - I emptied the internet cache and cookies from the week, and now can see RL. Thanks again! : )
