France's "Annus Horribilis"

The contributors to Riposte Laïque have reviewed, month by month, France's "annus horribilis" 2012, and warn that 2013 will be worse unless Hollande, Prime Minister Ayrault and Justice Minister Taubira are kicked out, certainly not a likelihood:

January 2012 - The presidential candidate of the Green coalition, Eva Joly, declared that the Muslim holiday for animal slaughter (Eïd) ought to be made a national holiday in France. No reaction from the political class.

February 2012 - In Voltaire's France, a State prosecutor dared to demand prison with a suspended sentence for Pierre Cassen and Pascal Hilout (note: both contributors to RL) for having sounded the alarm over the Islamization of France. At the same time, racketeers disguised as anti-racists demanded 150,000 euros in damages.

March 2012 - Mohamed Merah, in the name of Islam, killed seven persons including three Jewish children. Consternation in the media and a catastrophe for Sopo-Hollande-Mélenchon, who had already decided that the killer came from the ranks of the Front National!

Note: Dominique Sopo was the head of SOS-Racism. Jean-Luc Mélenchon was the pro-Communist presidential candidate in 2012.

April 2012 - Hollande announced that he would give foreigners the right to vote in 2013. Stunning silence from those who claim to be republicans.

May 2012 - Hollande was elected thanks to votes from 93% of the Muslims, while millions of Frenchmen discovered, to their horror, that the place de la Bastille was covered in foreign flags the night of May 6.

June 2012 - Two female gendarmes were killed. Scapegoats of the dysfunctional politicians, judges and of the society itself. From the beginning of 2012, more than 10,000 police officers were wounded, or an average of 38 per day! But that did not stop Taubira from wanting to empty out the prisons!

July 2012 - Manuel Valls inaugurates the Cergy mosque and assimilates all criticism of Islam to criticism of the Republic. Silence from organizations claiming to defend "laïcité".

Note: Just a reminder that "laïcité" refers to the 1905 law separating Church and State.

August 2012 - The Socialist adjunct mayor of Paris, Le Guen, promotes "shooting rooms" (i.e., authorized places where addicts can legally inject themselves). A few months later, minister of Health Marisol Touraine said she wanted tobacco shop owners to stop displaying cigarettes in their store windows.

September 2012 - As he inaugurated the new Strasbourg mosque, Manuel Valls announced his decision to extend the Concordat (that still governs Alsace-Lorraine) throughout all of France and to thus abrogate the 1905 law. Deafening silence from organizations claiming to defend "laïcité".

Note: The Concordat of 1801, signed by Napoleon Bonaparte, is an element of local Alsatian and Mosellan law, and recognizes the Catholic, Protestant and Israelite religions. When the region became German, after the Franco-Prussian War in 1870 this Concordat remained in effect. It continued in effect when the region was returned to France after World War I in 1919. In the meantime, in 1905, the law separating Church and State had been passed, but did not affect the Concordat. There has been a lot of talk in recent years about this Concordat that some would like to abolish and others to extend. Any extension of the Concordat would have to include Islam, and this is the only reason why atheist, agnostic and religiously indifferent Socialists and others, who normally hate religion, have any interest in the extension.

October 2012 - A few dozen young members of the Génération Identitaire, peacefully climbed to the roof of the mosque under construction in Poitiers, to demand a referendum on Islam and immigration. They were treated as dangerous extremists, taken into custody and prosecuted. Their association, a branch of the Bloc Identitaire, was threatened with dissolution…

November 2012 - Thanks to readers of Riposte Laïque, we learned that menus "without pork" have become common in French hospitals, notably at Pitié-Salpêtrière. Another deafening silence from journalists and politicians.

The same media silence marked the first march against Islamic fascism, organized in Paris on November 10, by Résistance Républicaine. Fortunately, Dale Hurd, an American journalist, covered the event.

Note: A reminder that Dale Hurd produces videos for CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network).

December 2012 - Hollande prostrates himself in Algeria and dares to repent, in the name of all Frenchmen, for all the benefits France brought to that country in 130 years.

And let's not forget, as the year ends, the video from our friend Guy Sauvage, who put his foot into the RATP's viper's nest, and revealed the extent of Islamization within this company, and all the internal complicities from which it benefits.

Note: The RATP refers to the public transit system of Paris. The six-minute video below shows a group of women who work for the RATP (we only see their feet) talking about the way they are treated by Muslims on the job. They talk about unfair hiring practices, constant insults from Muslim bus drivers, and management favoritism toward Muslim employees.

The written text reads as follows:

The Suffering Women of the RATP.

For some years, women who work for the RATP have endured mistreatment on the part of certain fanatical sexist male colleagues. The employees speak anonymously to avoid reprisals. The selective hiring and negative discrimination of the RATP:

"and others…Mohamed, Ben whatever his name was, were hired in less than two months." (quote from one of the speakers).

Note: She says that it takes two years for others to get into the company, even though their families have been RATP employees for generations.

These hiring practices resolve none of the problems of "incivility", but rather increase the hardships among the RATP employees. The Maghrebin women who are hired the same way as the men won't speak out because they are subjugated…

The female bus drivers are the objects of contempt, harassment, insults, mistreatment on a daily basis, from their bearded male colleagues… They let them do anything because they are becoming the majority.

Note: The women are regularly called "whores", and SOB's.

Most management reactions: accommodation and SUBMISSION, without any consideration for the female employees' suffering, with very few exceptions. There are even guys who refuse to drive buses because WOMEN were driving them BEFORE! So the manager changed the bus!

Note: At this point one woman says that she complained to her superior who said he understood how she felt, but could do nothing because it was necessary to keep "social peace" and to avoid conflicts within the smooth-running company.

The joy of "living-together"?

"Social peace"?

Note: One woman describes an exception. A man refused to drive a bus behind another bus driven by a woman. The manager told him to go home and he would not be paid. The man said OK I'll drive the bus.

Illegal prayers during working hours.

Note: The women express shock at the extent of religious influence on the job, and say the atmosphere is rotten, that it's intolerable and that they cannot work in such conditions.

And the future? Faced with fear, you have to choose: the SILENCE of cowardice or the COURAGE of the word.

Cowardice. Lack of bravery.

Till we have faith in God, we will never have the massive courage required to oppose, both intellectually and physically, the massive enemies arraigned against us.

The Spanish Reconquista succeeded only after Irish monks hastened to Spain to put steel into the backbones of the Spanish. We need a similar transplant. Only then will we have courage.

For some reason, in the last two hundred years, Christian pastors the world over have preached that Christians resist evil by peaceful means. This was never the case in the previous 1800 years.

The result has been the mental and physical disarmament of Christians worldwide. As a direct consequence, Christians are going to their deaths likes lambs to the slaughter, while the priests, who as shepherds are obligated to defend them, merely bless and console the lambs that their rewards will be in heaven. The good are dying in the hundreds each week, while evil prospers to perpetrate further evil.

Ester Duflo,
French expert to advise The White House

- Now, isn't that interesting, taking into consideration the socialists in charge, MuBro at the WH, as well as "New World Government" pronounced by POTUS earlier?

NWG - WH

"La Maison-Blanche a annoncé fin décembre qu'elle avait l'intention de nommer Esther Duflo, 40 ans, au sein du nouveau Comité pour le développement mondial. Elle y siègera aux côtés de huit autres personnes, dont l'Égyptien Mohamed El-Erian, directeur général du fonds d'investissement Pimco, premier gestionnaire obligataire à l'échelle mondiale, l'économiste du développement Smita Singh ou Sylvia Mathews Burwell, présidente de la fondation Wal-Mart. Edit

I intended to say NWO, New World Order, but ended up saying New World Government, which may not be so wrong after all.

Metaphorically speaking I would suggest that we white, native Westerners, fix bayonets, smile sweetly and advance in close order showing neither malevolence nor mercy. This is not war, it is merely vermin control.

And the courage of the vote. Someone at RL had pointed this out some time ago, but there seems to be a disconnect between people's views on what is wrong with the country, and the way they vote. I can see this around me. Many seem to agree with Marine on a number of issues, but don't vote for her probably because their greatest fear is economic. To her credit, Marine has tried to address this, but her big task over the next few years will be to re-assure members of the traditional right that she has a viable economic plan and that her policies will not raise their cost of living or lead to further economic disaster. I think it really is that basic.

@ dauphin,

Do these people who do not vote for Marine because of economic fears vote instead for the Socialists? If so, they really need a history lesson. Socialism leads to generalized poverty. Poor people are very unhappy people.

If they vote for the UMP on grounds that it has a better economic vision, again, they need a history lesson. The UMP is not a traditionalist party. It is a coalition of people who are clueless about everything. Nothing Sarkozy did really helped the economy because he still had to promote cradle-to-grave welfare, and he could not stop the huge resistance he encountered to small reforms such as retirement.

Marine Le Pen has to distinguish between what she always calls "globalisme sauvage" and a healthy free-market grounded in nationalism, even if the products are sold world-wide. National preference in hiring, and tax breaks for the companies so that they can use their profits to create more jobs and more wealth are indispensable.

I know it sounds idealistic and pro-business, and I do not mean to say that all social programs should end, only that they have to be French-based, not gifts for immigrants.

Marine Le Pen has to figure out a way to free up the enterprising spirit of French businessmen, all the while keeping the essential welfare programs. Partial withdrawal from the EU, plus no more immigration are the only solutions I see, even if a temporary economic setback results.

Has anyone wondered why Islam or the Marxist/communist/socialist/progressive totalitarian thugs, have always viewed Christianity as their main and only real threat.

1. The communists in Russia felt the same.

2. Even now, when Christians are minority in China, the Chinese communists view Christianity as a threat.

The first answer is that they cannot abide any power in whom the people place its trust other than the State itself. The State is their god. The State is the only god. God is the State's biggest rival, and must be eliminated as an enemy.

The second answer is that they think they are intelligent and that intelligent people need material and scientific proofs of the existence of something. It never occurs to them that their very presence on earth is proof of the Creator, nor do they think of themselves as "created".

The most essential reason is that they hate Life for being what it is and not what they would like it to be. They hate the fact that they are wrong about everything, and so they go deeper into their error to escape from the truth. The deeper they go, the more destruction they wreak, the greater their sense of accomplishment, and so they continue until the bitter end. They become Lucifer, the arch-enemy of God and the Good, even though they may have started out as a bunch of teen-age reform-minded vandals, they end up in hell. And then the Good has to try to get the upper hand and start all over again. It's really the myth of Sisyphus.

Just an added thought. Gérard Depardieu is now a Russian citizen and praises Russia's democratic ways. Apparently Communism in Russia was never as deep as we thought, and the soul of the Russian people kept beating through the many years of oppression and mass murder.

I can't speak for China, as I don't know that much about it. It sounds as if they do not have the kind of Slavic soul that keeps on beating despite oppression and mass murder. But they may just get tired of oppression from the Communists and feel the need to establish another kind of oppression. I don't see in the Chinese culture the great adaptability and soul-searching psychoanalysis and suffering that we read about in Russian literature. The Christian God is ever-present in Russian artistic output, and when you remove him, the output is flat and dumb, as in some Soviet-era posters and paintings. I think the Chinese may be God-less enough to keep Communism, tweaking it now and then but not overthrowing it. But as I said, I really don't know enough about them.

As for American liberalism, because it is so self-protective, self-regenerative and self-replicating, like amoeba, because it is so terrified of the truth (much more so than even the Chinese or the Russians), I see no hope for any improvement soon. Maybe much much later...

But why do they specifically hate Christianity more then any other religion? After all, Islam poses a far greater threat to Leftist ideology and persons. Witness what happened in Iran, and is now happening in the rest of the ME.

I know a quite a few Chinese Christians here in the UK. It goes without saying that they are law abiding and hard working. They pray for China that the people of China will see the truth. It seems to be working.

Tiberge, Im now convinced that we can do nothing to reverse what has happened unless we pray for God's help - not for our sake or for our generation, but for future generations.
