Note that on Saturday night a prayer vigil was said for the positive outcome of the demonstration against homosexual marriage. It seems to have had the desired effect.

Note also that a prayer vigil is being held today Sunday January 13, between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. in your time zone for Lawrence Auster, who is very ill. Those of you who read him and appreciate the priceless contribution he has made in defense of Western civilization and Christian values are aware of the terrible illness he is enduring like a champion. Turn here for more.

My father used to tell us it was 4 o'clock, whenever we asked him the time. Yesterday, somewhere, all over the world, it was five o'clock for Lawrence Auster.

@ Jewel

Thank you (and thanks to all who prayed). I would feel a lot better if he had doctors who cared enough to see him when he is obviously in dire straits. His condition is very serious. They send him home from the hospital with no diagnosis. He's in severe pain and they put him off. Scandalous. Cancer is serious, but it isn't just the cancer that kills. It's the sequelae and the chemo.

Forgive my editorializing, but frankly aren't you shocked? Let's continue to pray that he has the strength to make it to the next visit to a (so-called) specialist.
